TIRUMANTIRAM

English translation of the Tamil Spiritual Classic by Saint Tirumular

TANTRA NINE – Verses 3026 to 3047 of 3047

22 THE ALL-PERVASIVE

3026: When Jiva Unites in Siva

Siva Bhoga there will be;

Unto it will be added a Light

That suffuses sentient knowledge;

The body by Mayaic experience harassed,

Will yours be, controlled full;

The Jiva’s pervasiveness

Will everywhere spread.

3027: Omniscience and Omnipresence in Siva-Jiva Union

There is no one place where I can seek

That Object I have known;

Taking to the astral way,

There as Perfection, will it appear;

Seeking within the body,

There a Living Light will it be;

You then becomes omniscient and omnipresent.

3028: Seek Inner Light and Be One in Lord

In the sea-girt world filled with sorrows,

Seek Inner Light in life here led,

The Lord resides within this body,

May you meet Him ever,

On the waves of Seas High.

3029: His Infinite Compassion For Jiva

He is the Light within the Lights Three-

Sun, Moon and Fire;

He is their Body too

He the Lord of Celestials;

Yet leaving luminosities,

He follows Jivas in expanses vast

In compassion great;

He the One as several proliferates.

3030: Jiva Becomes a Flaming Light

Entangled in crusted Karma;

That with their birth came;

They in the end realized Him,

And golden became;

He is the Spark within the spark of light,

The Being Divine,

If you reach Him,

A flaming Light you shall be.

3031: He is the Spark of Jnana in Ajna

He is the Divine Spark

Inside desires stands;

He is the Divine Spark,

Into the Three Lights-Sun, Moon and Fire-waxes,

He is the Divine Spark,

In the Fore-head Center as our Thought seated,

The Tapasvins great, too, unto Him stand.

3032: His is the Voice that Voices All

He is the Lord,

He is all in directions ten,

He is the seven expansive sea-girt worlds too,

Thus pervading,

He is the Speaker that speaks all.

(Thus the Jiva Siva Becomes.)

3033: He Has No Entry, Exit and Stay

He is unto the Garuda Bird, that in an instant sees all;

He protects the seven worlds entire,

He removes my Karmas,

He, the Pure One, the Birthless One,

He has Going, Coming and Mingling none.

3034: He Pervades All Worlds Alike

He is of the rich matted locks,

He is of hue golden,

Unattached He is,

Yet immanent in all He is,

He is omnipresent, birthless, the Holy God,

Unintermittent He stands,

In all worlds seven.

3035: He is Within the Flower’s Fragrance

Sentience He is, Life He is

Union He is, Senses He is

Continuity beyond Thought He is,

Within the Fragrance of the Flower He is.

3036: He Comprehends All

The Holy One,

Devoid of odor of Senses Five,

My Father;

The Bounteous One, all Jnana gives;

In the precious wisdom of Vedic sages

Diverse He stands,

Comprehending all.

3037: He is Light in the Eye of Jivas

He is Heavenly Being

He is beyond the worlds seven;

He is this earth too;

He is cool unto seven ocean waters

That this globe girdles;

He stands in Jivas united,

As Light in their eye.

3038: His Limitless Expansiveness

He stood as Brahma and Vishnu,

He stood as heaven and earth,

He stood stretching

To the farthest mountains and seas seven,

He stood as Ripe Rich Fruit too.

3039: He is Jiva and Master of Jiva

He is Lord of Worlds,

The Holy One, my Father,

He is Master Mahout,

Of Jivas all,

He is Jivas themselves too,

He is the Lord,

Whom all in endearment hold.

3040: He is the Spark of Life and Thought Within

He is Spark of Prana-breath within,

He is the Luminous Sun in firmament high,

He is the Breath of Wind that blows on land,

He is the Thought within all.

3041: He Effected Union With Jiva

In the orderly way of numerals and letters

The Lord created music and melody;

In His Glance, in His Thought, from within,

He effected rapturous union of Jiva and Siva,

Into one Family united.

3042: He is the Center of All

The cardinal directions eight,

The worlds above and worlds below,

In Him centering stood;

Thus, immanent in all, He pervaded all;

He of the flowing matted locks,

Bedecked with fragrant Konrai blooms.

3043: He is One and Many

The Lord is with creation all

None know His coming and going,

He is distant, He is near;

He is constant, He is Sankara,

He is the Primal Being;

Multiple He is, One He is,

He Our Primal Lord.

3044: He Knows All; But None Knows Him

He is Jiva’s knowledge,

He is the Ancient One,

Yet none know how He is;

In the universes eight all,

He knows all,

-He the Nandi, Our Lord Primal.

3045: He is Deathless

Water, earth, sky, fire and wind,

The spark of light within the body,

-All these He is;

He is Paraparam, He is Siva, Our Lord,

He is the walking Jiva here below,

Deathless He is.

3046: Tirumular’s Songs, Mantras and Instructions Have But One Import

The Three Times Thousand that Mula composed,

The Three Times Hundred Mantras that Mula chanted,

The Three Times Ten Instructions that Mula gave,

These Three that Mula said

Are all, all, of one import.

23 BENEDICTION

3047: Long May They Be

Long may they be, Long may they be, our Nandi’s Holy Feet!

Long may they be, Long may they be, the Feet of Him who severed Malas!

Long may they be, Long may they be, the Feet of Him of Divine Jnana;

Long may they be, Long may they be, the Feet of Him who has Mala none.

AWAKENING THE CHAKRAS

The awakening of the chakras and sushumna nadi must precede the awakening of kundalini.

All the chakras are directly connected through ida and pingala nadis to each and every organ in the body in that particular area. For instance, swadhisthana chakra is directly connected through the nerve channels with the urogenital and ovarian system. Anahata chakra is connected with the cardiovascular system and the lungs. Vishuddhi chakra is connected with the ears, nose and throat. Now, these are the connections which exist between the chakras and the physiological organs so far as ida and pingala are concerned. But when awakening occurs, it first takes place in sushumna nadi.

The word 'awakening' is used in three different contexts: awakening of chakras, awakening of sushumna, and awakening of kundalini. First awakening of chakras must take place, then awakening of sushumna, and only after these two, awakening of kundalini takes place. If the chakras and sushumna are closed, and kundalini wakes up by your practices, where will this great force go? Before generating so much electricity, you must have a conducting channel and a distributing system. Sushumna is the conducting channel and the chakras are the junctions from which the energy, aroused by the awakening of kundalini, is distributed to different organs and zones is the body.

There is another important point to be noted. Sushumna runs from mooladhara up to ajna chakra, but it must pass through swadhisthana, manipura, anahata and vishuddhi. When every chakra is closed, it forms a block like the high barrier you find on the highway. If awakening of kundalini takes place, the energy will only go up to a particular chakra, but it cannot pass beyond that because the chakra is closed, it is not awakened.

In the awakening of kundalini, the first important thing that we have to do is awaken the chakras. Awakening of the chakras takes place by the practice of certain asanas. That is precisely the purpose of the asanas. Therapy is only a by product. Then you must awaken the chakras by practising the mantra or bija mantra and concentrating on different points. The third way to open the chakras is by the practice of pranayama. However, the practices of asana and mantra are the best ways to awaken or to revive the chakras.

When awakening of a chakra begins, you may have certain visions and experiences. You must remember that those visions and experiences do not represent the awakening of kundalini, or even the awakening of sushumna. Usually the experiences which represent the awakening of the chakras are of a fantastic nature, but they do not mean anything when you try to assess their results. I will give you an example. Many years ago, I was meditating on the bank of the Ganga in Rishikesh, and suddenly I had a very vivid experience. I saw the whole earth broken into two. It was a very clear vision, and I remember it even today, but this vision had nothing to do with reality; I just had it.

Now, this is an experience of the awakening of the chakras. You can see angels, divine forms, sun, moon and stars. You can hear music or you can feel a sort of bliss or ecstasy. These and many other experiences represent the awakening of the chakras. Then comes the awakening of sushumna. When awakening takes place in sushumna, you can feel the rod of light. You can feel an upward passage fully illumined from within.

These experiences which I am telling you about are described by the saints in different religions by means of songs and stories, which unfortunately the devotees do not understand today. However, the awakening of kundalini is an event in man's life. Every experience has a "tangible proof, whether it is the awakening of extrasensory perceptions or the awakening of a particular kind of genius. It may be in the form of a prophecy that you are able to deliver to the people, a transformation in the physical elements of the body that you are able to materialise, or a magnetic influence that you are able to cast on the masses of people as a politician, a musician or a saint.

The awakening of kundalini has tangible, positive, concrete proofs. You cannot say that your kundalini is awakened if you have no proof. If people come to me and tell me that their kundalini is awakened, I ask them, 'How do you know it?' They say, 'I feel this, I feel that.' I tell them, 'It is not enough.' Because when the awakening of kundalini takes place, you completely transcend the normal categories of mental awareness. The scope of knowledge becomes greater.

Most people are under the mistaken impression that kundalini is experienced in the lower parts of the body, but the sensual experiences such as pain, pleasure, taste, touch, sight, smell and sound are all felt by different circuits in the brain. Similarly, all the chakras are linked to a specific area in the brain. When these zones are activated, different experiences, expressions and faculties come into action.

When kundalini passes through swadhisthana, or remains there for some time, all your latent and suppressed vasanas or passions come out. When kundalini is in anahata chakra, then you become filled with absolute devotion. Even an atheist will change when kundalini is in the proximity of anahata chakra. You become a great poet, a singer, a clairvoyant, and you are able to conquer people by the immensity of your love.

When kundalini is in vishuddhi chakra, then the nectar or the ambrosia is consumed properly by the body, and the cells of the body are rejuvenated. Emaciation and old age vanish. The body is transformed into the body of a young person. That is why it is said that when the kundalini is in vishuddhi chakra, one enjoys eternal youth.

This is a very important topic that we have discussed today. Everybody, whether householder or sannyasin, must remember that awakening of kundalini is the prime purpose of human incarnation. The different pleasures of sensual life, which you are enjoying and which you can enjoy, are intended only to enhance the awakening of kundalini amidst the adverse circumstances of man's life.

So, in order to awaken kundalini, first you must have a guru, then a mantra, then a system of practice comprised of asana, pranayama and occasional hatha yoga shat kriyas, then ajapa japa and kriya yoga in successive order. And if you follow this yogic course, even if your kundalini is not awakened, it does not matter. At least awakening of the chakras and sushumna will take place.

Sithargal Deep Truths

THE SEVEN-SKINNED EGG
"The Great Wheel of the Zodiac is the seven-skinned Egg of the universe. These skins are the seven great planes of manifestation commencing with Adi on the Spiritual level and descending to the physical plane. The fields interpenetrate, thus demonstrating the truth of the Eternal Presence in man. The consciousness of man interpenetrates all planes because it is derived from the Monadic level of the Adic plane."

"In the Mysteries, the seven Logi, Elohim or Creative Lords, are shown as streams of force issuing from the mouth of the Eternal One. This signifies the spectrum being extracted from the white light of the Supreme Deity. The seven Creators, or Fabricators, of the inferior spheres were called by the rabbis the Elohim. By the Egyptians they were referred to as the Builders sometimes as the Governors and are depicted with great knives in their hands with which they carved the universe from its primordial substance. Worship of the planets is based upon their acceptation as the cosmic embodiments of the seven creative attributes of God. The Lords of the planets were described as dwelling within the body of the sun, for the true nature of the sun, being analogous to the white light, contains the seeds of all the tone and colour potencies which it manifests."

"The seven rays is an occult concept that has appeared in several religions and esoteric philosophies, since at least the 6th century BCE, of the Aryan peoples in both Western culture and in India. In the west, it can be seen in early western mystery traditions such as Gnosticism and the Roman Mithraic Mysteries; and in texts and iconic art of the Catholic Church as early as the Byzantine era. In India, the concept has been part of Hindu religious philosophy and scripture since at least the Vishnu Purana, dating from the post-Vedic era." -- open source

"Not unlike our physical sun (the source of all visible light that can be broken up into its seven component colors), the Solar Logos of our system too is a source of seven great cosmic Rays of spiritual light that can help accelerate our spiritual growth. These Rays build up the causal body of man, and to each of them there are various spiritual and physical qualities assigned. In this case we can say that the term "Ray" is used in a sense of one special type of force or energetic quality. These seven great streams of energy represent each and every vibration in nature, space and form, and they permeate all objects, all beings and all events in manifestation. They interpenetrate each other and combine themselves in order to produce more complex systems which we refer to as "reality". The seven Rays surpass the possible description by words, or even by thoughts or feelings. They are too essential and all-encompassing to be limited within our own narrow inner space of perception of the great spectrum of reality."

Spiritual Tantras Secrets Revealed

TANTRA - Sri Dattatreya is the guru of all tantas .
He came from - Dog Star- constellation / sirus - binary star constellation  & without /not having any influence -of Triple( trinity ) -to this Bhu gola - this bhu loka having 3 major parts >.etc >>among - we are living in bhu gola - not bhuloka entirely - etc >>

Lets come to - main stream subjects

(As a part of Siva's grace, Shiva took the form Srikanthanatha at Mount Kailaṣ and revealed the ninety-two Hindu Tantras to Durvasa muni and then disappeared into the Akasa or ether.)

The word tantra is made up by the joining (sandhi in Sanskrit) of two Sanskrit words: tanoti (expansion) and rayati (liberation). Tantra means liberation of energy and expansion of consciousness from its gross form.

Tantra is exploring and identifying the hidden part in human personality.

The feminine qualities in men and masculine qualities in women,

for example—and helps to maintain the balance: helps humans to grow in spirituality and cosmic connection (See Bairavas 64, yoginis 64, Tantras 64, dancing gestures in Bharatanatyam 64 karanas and Tattvas in our human body are 64, DNA molecules.)

The Hindu Tantras total ninety-two scriptures; of these, sixty-four  are purely Abheda (literally "without differentiation", or monistic), known as the Bhairava Tantras or Kashmir Śaivite Tantras, eighteen are Bhedābheda (literally "with differentiation and without differentiation" monistic or dualistic), known as the Rudra Tantras), and ten are completely Bheda (literally "differentiated" or dualistic), known as the Śiva Tantras.

The latter two (Rudra Tantras and Śiva Tantras) are used by the Śaiva Siddhāntins, and thus are sometimes referred to as Shaiva Siddhanta Tantras, or Śaiva Siddhānta Āgamas.

Through the ages, as the mahasiddha or 'great masters' of the tantras hid themselves to escape the touch of the increasingly worldly people, these teachings were lost during the Kali Yuga or 'degenerate age'.

 As a part of Śiva's grace, Śiva took the form Śrikanthanatha at Mount Kailaṣ and revealed the ninety-two Hindu tantras to Durvasa and then disappeared into the Ākaśa or ether.
