The Yoga of Siddhar Thirumoolar and other Yogas. 

I think the tricky part in the way the Siddha teachings lie here. They do not advocate the Divine to be bound by time or space and cannot be secured in a particular sacred place. The Siddha teachings are to see our true Self as the Divine and nothing else, that includes the body, mind, and life. Everything is Divine and can be made Eternal.  The Divine Self, the Absolute Self, is indefinable by human reason and cannot be described by speech; it has to be approached through experience. This experience comes out from an absolute negation of matter (form) as it is supreme non-existence.  At the same time, a mysterious infinite. This is the highest Sadhana of the Siddhas, called Sakshi Bhava (Witness Consciousness). The Soul expansion touches Infinite realism, at the same time untouched and survives in and through all experiences with or without forms. 

In this process of expansion of Consciousness, which is transcendence, vast Divine Influences and Wisdom happens to the Sadhaka.

You have to work yourself till this, then only you will know the whole meaning of "Devotion to GOD." The term Surrender will be wholly realized, and it happens instantaneously at this point. Without going through this realization of Everexpanding in Consciousness, the term GOD  will not carry the actual import. The best way we can approach the Divine that has been shared by the Siddhas is to an absolute affirmation of all the fundamentals of our own existence, that is :

Full of Light and Love, 

Full of Wisdom, 

Full of Beauty, 

Full of Power 

and all these are our True Nature. If we can affirm this entirely, we have made the first step to being a Self Realised Soul. The Siddhas perform their Sadhana from this complete affirmation level. The Siddha Sadhana is not from the mind level; it is from the Soul Level. We perform Sadhana from the Shiva Maha Prana (The Cosmic Force) 

As long as we are going on looking for God and Goddesses in remote places, however much you may say that it is a dominant energy centre, you are localizing the absolute. 

The Himalayan Saints, the Saints in Kailash, the most celebrated Rishi of Arunachala, and Sri Ramana all closed their eyes to scale the Divine. It is not the place; it is the understanding.  None of them performed any external actions; none uttered a single word while merging with the Divine Shiva. It was the end of existence by which they were Self Realised. 

By knowing the secrets of the creation and resonating into the cosmic sounds by placing cosmic sounds in our energy centres with total focus without any interference of thoughts, one can enter into such an ineffable state and plunge into it as if into a Luminous Emptiness of the All-Perfection Reality that we call Shivam Chakram. (Thiruvambala Chakram).

According to the Siddhas, this is the purpose of birth and the meaning of worshipping God. We go to temples, in the beginning, to learn that the Divine is an Absolute Reality in its state of Supreme Non-Existence so that we realize that the human body is itself a Temple of the Supreme.

The Siddhas believe that to live life, ultimately, you first affirm that you are God.
